General FAQs
Q: What sorts of desserts can I order?
A: Honestly, most anything! I’ve filled orders requesting everything from intricate tiered cakes, to chocolate covered pretzels, to fresh apple pie! Some of my most popular requests include large and small cakes, decorated sugar cookies, pies, cupcakes, and more. Not sure if I make something? Reach out! There’s no harm in asking!
Q: When should I place my order?
A: Whether or not I can take your order relies entirely on how many orders I already have around that time. Usually I require at least 2 or 3 weeks notice, but in a pinch I’ve made a couple days work! Again, It never hurts to ask. Generally speaking though, the more notice you give me, the higher the chance I can take your order. (Think - major holidays!)
Q: Where can I pickup my order?
A: You can pickup your order at my store located at 417 Springfield Ave in Summit NJ. Plan to pickup between the hours of 11am and 5pm.
Cake - specific FAQs
Q: What information do you need from me?
A: The first things I need from you are how many people the cake should feed, what flavor(s) you’re after, and any theme/design ideas you have
Q: What flavors do you have?
A: What flavors do you want? :) I can make anything (within reason)! Just ask!
Q: How much do cakes cost?
A: Every cake is unique, and is it’s price. Once I get an idea of what you’re looking for, I can supply you with a quote. Prices are based on factors such as size, flavor, as well as any special requests or additional fillings, etc. A smallish basic cake starts around $56.
Decorated cookie - specific FAQs
Q: I don’t really know what I want. Can you help?
A: Yes! You do not have to have an exact idea of what the cookies should look like. That’s my job! My cookies are art, I design each unique set specifically for those who order them.
Q: How long will the cookies stay fresh?
A: I individually heat seal every cookie inside of a cellophane bag to keep them nice and fresh. Using this method, I have had success keeping cookies for up to two weeks!
Q: How much do cookies cost?
A: Every order is priced based on the complexity of the design. For example, sets that have simple designs and contain only a few colors will cost less than sets that use multiple techniques, intricate details, and many colors. Generally prices range from $4.50-$6.50 per cookie.
Q: Do you have an order minimum? Do I have to order by the dozen?
A: No and no! Order as many or as few as you like. The price of your order many increase, however, if you purchase fewer than 12 cookies.
